Jaroslava Cameron, 70, of Prosperity, has been identified by Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher as the woman who died in a two-vehicle collision in the Batesburg area of Lexington County on Feb. 27.

The crash occurred at approximately 5:25 p.m. at the intersection of Summerland Avenue and North Lee Street.

Cameron was traveling west on North Lee Street and attempting to cross Summerland Avenue when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle traveling south on Summerland Avenue.

Cameron was wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Fisher.

The other driver and a passenger were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
