Batesburg-Leesville St. Patrick's event was fun for all ages

Posted

The St. Patrick’s Day Festival was held on Saturday, March 15, in the downtown Batesburg Business District. A Fun Run was held at 8 a.m. prior to the festival, and it officially began with a Golf Cart parade. There were several entries in the parade and the turnout was good for the event. After the parade, everyone made their way to the carnival rides and the vendors. There were several vendors who had delicious goodies and crafts. At 2 p.m., the concerts began with Cody Webb, Shiloh Woods and Justin Proctor. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed taking their children to the rides which consisted of a Ferris wheel, go-carts, cartoon dinosaurs and swings. The event lasted until 9 p.m.
