Lexington Church of God’s Men’s Ministry is hosting a Men’s night at 5:30 pm this September 24, which will include food, fellowship, and a horseshoe tournament; winners get their name on the “Golden Horseshoe” plaque.

If you notice a few new benches and some brickwork going up near the front edge of the student parking lot at White Knoll High School, it’s a new memorial space dedicated to the several students there who have passed away in the last few years. The school will dedicate the space at an upcoming home football game.

White Knoll Timberwolves football team is going into Friday’s matchup with Gray Collegiate Academy with a 3-0 record, and those have all been convincing wins. The Timberwolves have outscored opponents 127-33 in those three games. I’m not sure how many 4-0 starts the team has had in school history, but a win this week would accomplish that, and position them well for the rest of region play. Game time is 7:30 at the Wolf Den.
