Rainfall once again put the Lexington County Blowfish’s quest to snap its losing streak on hold.
Bad weather postponed Friday’s game at Macon. This marked the third rainout this week and second involving the Bacon for the Blowfish, who have lost a Lexington team record 11 straight games.
The two teams will now play a July 16 doubleheader, with each game going seven innings.
The Blowfish’s next contest is also a doubleheader. They are slated to play two home games starting at 5:05 p.m. July 9 against the Forest City Owls.
For the first time since 2019, recruits from Fort Jackson will be in attendance. A laser lights show will also take place.
