At the Town Council meeting, American Legion Post 101 presented the Pelion Police Department with a check for $2,000 for new protective vests.
The council cancelled the Trunk or Treat on the walking trail.
PELION VARSITY football plays Gilbert Sept. 18 at 7:30 pm. Girls tennis plays at Wade Hampton Sept. 22 at 5 pm and at Bamberg-Ehrhardt Sept. 24 at 5 pm. JV/V volleyball plays Wade Hampton at 5 pm Sept. 22 and at Barnwell Sept. 24 at 5 pm. Cross Country meets at Crooked Creek Park Sept. 23 at 5 pm.
