Book donation day happening at Irmo Library March 27

On Thursday, March 27, The Friends of the Irmo Branch Library, located at 6251 St. Andrews Rd., will accept donations of used books. This will take place from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.

The library does not accept CDs, VHS tapes, magazines/journals, encyclopedias, dictionaries, textbooks that are over five years old, damaged/ripped books, Reader's Digest condensed books or travel/computer books more than three years old.

Books can be dropped off curbside at the side entrance to the library or you can bring them to the library’s Mungo Room.

The library emphasizes that individuals should not drop off donations at the library any time other than the designated donation days.
