The Gilbert-Summit Branch Library held a Teen Book Tasting this week to introduce teens to the finest books in the library.

They offered different genres for teens to think about in choosing their next book. This gets teens out of a reading rut to know what to check out.

Storytime in the Park is held weekly in the Gilbert-Summit Community Park on Thursdays at 10 am until 10:30 am.

Storytime introduces pre-schoolers to literature. Children will learn nursery rhymes, finger plays, storytelling and songs.

The library asks people to bring chairs or blankets. Storytime in the Park will be held throughout October.

HAPPY 60TH wedding anniversary to Speedy and Shirley Fulmer. Daughters Cindy Fulmer Parnell and Denise Fulmer Birt made their parent’s day special and pray God will keep them safe, healthy and together for many years.
