Brookland Baptist Church, one of the largest churches in the Cayce and West Columbia area, dedicated their new Christian Learning Center recently. The building has been part of the church’s master plan for years and now has become a reality.

It’s major function will be to give youth a strong foundation in biblical principles and prepare them to be neighborhood evangelists.

The large crowd of members, local officials and invited guests were treated to a stirring message delivered by Dr. Donald E. Green. He is the President of the Baptist Education & Missionary Convention of SC. Dr. Green’s message addressed things in society that are broken and the need for every believer to help fix them with compassion and Christian love.

After Green’s message, Senior Pastor of Brookland Baptist, Dr. Charles Jackson spoke about all the cooperation of multiple groups and divinely inspired donations, tithes, offerings and gifts that made the project happen. In addition, he spoke optimistically about the youth who will participate in activities and teaching at the learning center.
