The City of Cayce is accepting photos for the annual Cayce Citizens Calendar. The photographs should feature locations in Cayce or Cayce residents but the contest is open to photographers from all over the state. You can find the submission form and information on the city’s website at caycesc.gov

Want to stay free of germs and help a good cause? Mooneyhan’s Auto Service offers hand sanitizer by the non-profit Scooter Scott Nehemiah Project. All proceeds from the sale go to the charity. Mooneyhan’s is at 1224 B Ave, West Columbia. It’s open from 8 am until 5 pm, Monday to Friday.

The project is a faith-based organization helping kids in middle and high school become future leaders of tomorrow. Christ Centered. Free GED is offered.

Day in West Co-Kinetic Derby lumbia has been moved to Sept. 26. You can register now to build a soapbox car or kinetic sculpture for Derby Day. Go to: kineticderbyday.com for information.

West Columbia Mayor Tem Miles has thanked Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin and the City of Columbia for securing masks for all surrounding communities. Benjamin presented Miles with face masks for West Columbia’s city staff.
