Central S.C. Habitat for Humanity is calling on individuals and groups from the community to volunteer in the construction of two new homes for future homeowners Sierra and Ra’Shawn.

The organization aims to have both families in their completed homes by Thanksgiving 2025.

• Sept. 12 - Wall Raising Celebration: "Volunteers needed as the first structural walls are raised for each home."
• Sept. 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. - Under the Trusses: "Experience a twilight tour of the construction process and learn about how Habitat for Humanity is expanding access to affordable homeownership in the midlands."
• Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m. - World Habitat Day: "Join Habitat for Humanity for an inspiring evening with New York Times best selling author, Clint Smith, as they explore how local solutions can make lasting change."
