The Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center held its monthly breakfast meeting Jan. 12.

The focus was on how educators are preparing students to become college or career ready.

Speakers were Kaye K. Shaw, Ph.D., Midlands Regional Workforce Advisor with the SC Dept. of Commerce and Bryce Myers, Director of the Lexington Technology Center.

Lexington One School District Superintendent Gregory Little, Ed.D. introduced a video message from the district’s Teacher of the Year, Dani Stroud of Gilbert High School.
