Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber and Visitors Center directors have voted unanimously to name Tim James President and CEO.

James has served as Interim President and CEO for the last 3 months.

He has had a long career in leadership roles at the Cayce Public Safety Department, Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, SLED and Lexington Medical Center.

He has improved board development, operations, and has prioritized member relations, Board Chair Thomas Tafel said.

James said he is ready for the opportunities ahead as social media, tourism, and partnerships move to the front as popular marketing tools.

“The new Visitors Center website is a game changer,” said James.
