After last Friday night’s football games, the Quail learned about changes in the season. Yes, I’m talking about fall.
The Quail forgot his jacket, not expecting the temperature to drop that low while covering Friday night football games.
Also our towns will be electing mayors and council members in November.
Swansea will elect a new mayor and at least one new council member and Pelion will have a new council member. Other towns will hold elections for mayor and council. You’ll find details in this week’s edition.
Finally, now that school has started back, come the fall holidays we all love and enjoy. I t starts with Grandparents Day Sept. 12 followed by Columbus Day Oct. 11 and Halloween the last Sunday of October along with Daylight Savings time ends the same day. Is this an omen?
