The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has charged Jordan Hysell, 27 of Chapin, with inflicting great bodily injury upon a child on Sept. 2.
The arrest warrant states that between Nov. 1, 2024, and Dec. 1, 2024, Hysell caused injury to a child, leading to the victim’s hospitalization.
According to the warrant, the child suffered a fractured arm, bruising, femur fractures, healing rib fractures and a subconjunctival hemorrhage. Warrants say the child was "his minor child."
Hysell was booked into the Lexington County Detention Center. The case will be prosecuted by the 11th Circuit Solicitor's Office.
