Wesley K. Crosby, who has more than 20 years of experience in public administration, grant administration and project management, has been hired as the new assistant city manager for the city of Cayce.
This position became available after former Deputy City Manager Jim Crosland became the city manager and former Assistant City Manager Michael Conley became the deputy city manager.
Crosby has worked with Lexington’s town administration and council since 2005 and has assisted downtown development projects, bringing new business opportunities and improvements.
According to a press release, during his time in Lexington, Crosby oversaw grants as well as the $8 million redevelopment of Virginia Hylton Park and Lexington’s Icehouse Amphitheater and Pavilion.
"We are excited to welcome Wesley to our city and to utilize his experience and expertise in navigating new and exciting projects coming to Cayce,” said Cayce City Manager Jim Crosland in the press release. “Our city and our communities are growing; thus, the needs of our citizens are as well. We are known for providing excellent customer service to our local businesses, residents, and community partners. This is an exciting time for Cayce, and we look forward to Wesley stepping into his new role.”
