Cookin’ with THE CHRONICLE

Let’s go crabbing and shrimping. This delicious casserole is for all you seafood lovers, like me. I grew up close to the coastline. My daddy and I put out crab baskets and would pull up baskets of blue crab. Back in the day the blue crab were huge. We would bring them back, boil them in the huge pots we had purchased in Louisiana and the crab shack in Glenville, GA.

Seafood Casserole

1 lb. cleaned and cooked shrimp 1 lb. crab meat 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped 2 cups potato chips 1/4 cup chopped onion 1½ cups celery, chopped 1 tsp. salt 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce 1/2 cup pickle

Preheat oven to 400º. Mix all ingredients except potato chips. Crumble potato chips on top. Bake at 400º for 20 to 25 minutes.
