County ambulances to get new colors

Lexington County’s Ambulances are getting a makeover in 2020.
The new graphics will be bright yellow-green, blue and white.
The county said the colors would increase the visibility of EMS vehicles and improve the safety of EMS workers and the citizens they serve.
The current colors of orange and blue are the standard for SC.
The changes are unique to Lexington County and will distinguish them from other county and private ambulances.
Lexington County Council voted on the color change at the Oct. 10 meeting.
