County leadership class raises $40K

Leadership Lexington County Class of 2018 contributed over $40,000 to the Scooter Scott Project last year. The Scooter Scott Project touches the lives of more than 1,000 families in Lexington County with GED preparation, before and after school programs, mentorship and leadership programs. The 2018 LLC class raised funds to provide a Jacob’s Law Bus, 19 computers and a curated website for the Scooter Scott Project. Leadership Lexington County is a nonprofit educational organization made up of local professionals from wide-ranging career paths and industries. The 2018 class graduated from the program last Tuesday at the Town of Lexington Municipal Center. Graduates were Dean Anderson, Jeffrey Armstrong, Cherise Arrendale, Daniel Bedenbaugh, Beverly Breuer, Michael Bridges II, Jessica Burgoyne, Harrison Cahill, Brandon Caldwell, Regina Crawford, Michael Cromer, Laura Culler, Dustin Currier, Michael Dawkins, Jeremy Driggers, Seth Duncan, Scottie Frier, Benjamen Fuller, David Fulmer, Denise Hudson, Anna Huffman, Jennifer Klinsie, Jesse Laintz, Frank Powers, Laura Prosser, Josh Rabon, Luis Rivera, Allen Sharpe, Anna Smith, Oneal Staples, Jared Thomas, William Unthank, Connor Watkins, Michael White, and Brittany Williams.
