Lexington County residents are among the most generous in SC, according to a SmartAsset analysis of IRS data.
Donations to charity were 1.89% of the average income. That did not include unreported donations to churches, schools and youth groups. Smart Assets reported Beaufort County was the most generous with 2.17% of income donated.
