Local small business recovery is ahead of the national average, according to a new survey of more than 35,000 small- and medium-sized business owners worldwide.
Lockdowns, declining sales and other effects from the pandemic persist but our state is recovering faster.
Facebook’s survey found:
• 44% of women-owned SC businesses had 10 points less sales than the US.
• 75% of SC, 78% of women-owned and 73% of minority-owned businesses open.
• 19% of open small businesses had reduced employment and 73% were confident they could remain open at least 6 months despite conditions.
