Due to the rise in covid, Batesburg-Leesville High will continue 4-days-a-week classroom instruction.
District 3 had planned to go to 5-days-a-week Jan. 19.
With covid cases climbing, administrators feel it is in the best interest of staff and students to delay that.
Students will attend classes Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with Wednesdays as virtual learning days.
Parents of students at Batesburg-Leesville Primary, Elementary, and Middle Schools should note that no changes are being made.
District 2 returned to 5-day face-to-face instruction this week.
Students returned fulltime Tuesday, following Monday’s MLK holiday, District 2’s Dawn Kujawa said.
