TMQB TEAM OF THE WEEK - Dutch Fork

A new standard for unbeaten play was set this past Friday by the top-ranked Silver Foxes. The 69-21 win over Chapin marked the team’s 56th consecutive game without a loss. Christ Church had a 55-game winning streak from 2011- 15, a number Dutch Fork has equalled in consecutive wins over in-state teams. There’s also the 32-game road win streak, a 26-game region win streak and a 28-game win streak it will look to extend Friday versus River Bluff.

The Gilbert High transfer threw for a career-high 381 yards and 5 touchdowns in the 48-0 win over Dreher.

With 1,421 yards, Gray Collegiate running back KZ Adams is Chronicle Country’s top rusher. Gilbert’s Alias Graham-Woodberry is 32 yards shy of 1,000 and Dutch Fork’s Jarvis Green needs 219 more yards.

BY THE NUMBERS

Gilbert has won 13 consecutive region games. Lexington has outscored the opposition 35-0 in the 2nd half of each of its games. Dutch Fork wide receiver Antonio Williams has 1,335 total yards. Swansea has dropped 11 straight games dating back to last season.
