Eagle Scout donates to covid-19 response

Posted

A Lexington County Eagle Scout is helping in the fight against covid-19.

Christopher Blake donated $1,492 for the Lexington Medical Center Foundation Covid-19 Response Fund.

Christopher is a sophomore at Dutch Fork High School and Senior Patrol Leader of Boy Scout Troop 312 in Irmo.

As part of his Eagle Scout project, he produced and donated 3D-printed mask extenders for hospital employees throughout the Midlands. He raised money through a GoFund-Me fundraiser.

Thank you to Christopher and the Boy Scouts of America for their commitment to our community!
