Five Guys is planning to open a new location in the Lexington County area, according to documents included in a Lexington County Planning Commission agenda. 

It will be located at 1781 South Lake Dr. in the Red Bank area. The site is within Colonnade at White Knoll, a retail strip with three buildings and 10 suites near the new Lowes Foods on Platt Springs Road.

The popular burger chain will join existing tenants, including T-Mobile, Anytime Fitness, Title Max and Tasty Wings.

Five Guys is known for its burgers, hand-cut fries, milkshakes, peanuts and more.
