Employees of the Bi-Lo on US 378 west of Lexington have been told the store will be closed if a buyer cannot be found by April.
Food Lion on Tuesday announced plans to buy 62 Bi-Lo and Harveys Supermarket stores from Southeastern Grocers.

ADUSA expects to hire more than 800 associates to support Food Lion’s added stores.
Food Lion is owned by Ahold Delhaize USA, a division of Netherlands-based Ahold Delhaize.
Food Lion plans to hire 4,650 employees including those who work at those Bi-Lo and Harveys Supermarket stores who apply.
Each Food Lion employs 40 to 50 people.
The stores will remain open under their Bi-Lo and Harveys Supermarket names until April.
