Fort Jackson leader to speak to chamber
Brig. Gen. Patrick Michaelis will speak at the Lexington Chamber’s Business Over Breakfast Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 7:30 am at Radius Church.
Tickets are $10 and must be purchased in advance. Registration will close Friday, September 10 at 2 pm.
He is the 52nd Commanding General of Fort Jackson and a graduate of Texas A&M University. His most recent assignment was deputy commanding general for the US Army Recruiting Command.
He received a BA in history from Texas A&M, a Masters in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a Masters in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College.
He has taught at West Point and served in posts in the US, Germany and Operation Joint Endeavor.
