host Technology Training September 19 at 10:30 a.m. This event requires registration and gives personal assistance with your computer, tablet or smart phone. Learn to set up email, navigate the internet, download library materials, search for jobs online and more. Preschool storytime is September 19 at 11 a.m. for ages 2-5 years. Books and Beyond for grade K-5 meets September 18 at 3:30 p.m. with a DIY homemade ice cream. Spine Crackers Book Club meets September 19 at 3 p.m. for ages 18 and up. This book club reads a variety of books and encourages lively discussions.

Pelion Varsity football plays C. A. Johnson at 7:30 p.m. September 14. The JV volleyball all-day tournament is September 15 at 8 a.m. Cross Country competes at Crooked Creek at 8:30 a.m. September 15. September 18 girls tennis plays Gilbert at 4:30 p.m. JV/V volleyball plays Gilbert at 5 p.m. September 19 JV/V volleyball is at 5 p.m. and Cross Country at Lexington High at 5:30 p.m. September 20 JV football plays Columbia at 6 p.m.

Pelion Senior Center will enjoy daily socializing from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m.; bingo and crafts from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.; exercise from 11 a.m. until noon; lunch at noon; games, puzzles and canasta from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
