2 popular 5K fundraising events will be done virtually this year:

The Race Against Hunger, sponsored by Mission Lexington, and the Lighthouse for Life Run for Her 5K.

Both events raise money to fight hunger in our community and stop human trafficking. But, like last year, covid will prevent them from having their traditional in-person runs.

The needs are still there and growing, so both organizations are looking for previous runners to step up and do the virtual race this year.

Participants will choose the time and place and distance they will run. The Lexington Race Against Hunger is to be done the weekend of April 15-18. Run for Her will take place anytime during April.

For information on how to participate, register, or pick up your race packet and shirt, visit wwwlrah.org or 5krace@lighthouseforlife.org .
