Pelion Ruritans are selling tickets for a Boston butt cooked by Shealys. The tickets are available from any member or you can stop by Shumpert’s Corporate Office and pick up a ticket. Boston butts will be available for pick up April 3 at the IGA parking lot from 10 - 1.

CONVENT BAPTIST’S annual BBQ and car show was the biggest ever with 87 cars and over 800 plates of BBQ and chicken sold. Thanks to all who participated and helped make this a great day.

Convent will dedicate their new kitchen in memory of Benny Collings March 28. Benny was instrumental in getting this project underway.

A BIG thanks to Pelion Chief John Rebolj for replacing the Ruritan Veterans Memorial lights with LEDs. He will install a photo cell sensor so the timer won’t have to be reset
