Gilbert High honors seniors

Gilbert High held its Senior Walk last Friday. Gilbert Elementary students, faculty and staff lined both sides of the road connecting the campuses. As GHS Seniors walked by, the GES family cheered them. This is an exciting time for seniors.

GHS recently hired new faculty members Alissa Nolan, Health Science Department, Cielo Castelblanco, Spanish, Cyprian Pungong, Science, Dee Pukl, Digital Learning Coach, Jamie Powell, Leadership and Culture Development Coach, Katherine Stall, English, Rebekah Durham, Counseling Department, and Uday John, Math.

The Gilbert-Summit Branch Library freeseed exchange is gaining members.

Angie Brooks said varieties of vegetables, herbs and flower seeds are available.

Cotton Branch Farm Sanctuary thanks everyone who donated money. Donations keep the farm going and the rescued farm animals fed and housed. For information on donating check their Facebook page.

Many homes in our community will be repaired this summer thanks to the youth of Cherokee Presbyterian Church, partnering with Group Mission Trips to host a Mission Workcamp. Over 200 youth and adults will make repairs to homes in June.
