A big shout-out goes to the Gilbert Ruritans. Ruritans have a district-wide project that helps those in need in our communities. It also brings Ruritan clubs together in service. This year, the district-wide project was the Homeless Care Pack Project. Ruritan members assembled 100 care packs for individuals in our communities who could use a helping hand during a difficult time in their lives. Bags were assembled at the fall district meeting on Sept. 21 at the Pineview Clubhouse. Each club received 10 care packs to take back to its community and distribute to those in need.
