Gilbert-Summit Senior Center update

Gilbert-Summit Senior Center Director Donna Neel reports they are still in Phase I but optimistic they will be be in Phase II in October. Members are allowed to participate in Seniorcise, arts and crafts, games and health education. In Phase II they will be open to new members. For information call 803-892-5745.

Congratulations to Gilbert High’s varsity baseball team on their 3A State Championship. Last week the team held a Championship Ring Ceremony.; enjoyed a trip to the Statehouse and made a team photo.

Gilbert High student Mallory Pitts is excited about being chosen as a College Board National Scholar. She received her official certificate in August. The honor will be on her college scholarship applications.

Congratulations to Marie and Tyler Sease on the birth of their daughter Laney Kate Sease.
