Giving hope in hopeless situations

Posted

Andy Aun of the Aun & McKay law firm sponsored the Chemo Care Bag annual fundraiser of April Taylor Stroud with Resource Realty Group. April started the Chemo Care Bag program 4 years ago when her friend Kelly Hallman was battling cancer a 2nd time. This was started in Kelly’s memory, as she lost her battle with cancer. “Many of you know I lost my mother to cancer when I was 17,” Aun said. Chemo Care Bags for patients at SC Oncology are filled with blankets, socks, water, snacks, tissues, hand sanitizers, and Chick-fil-A gift cards. She also thank Matt Powell with WFG Title Insurance for donating items which were included in these bags of hope. To donate, call April at (803) 920-6899.
