Brad Frick and Jared Beard are ushering in a brand new form of golf training that is making golf easier.

It’s a training Initiative called Impact Conditioning.

“Impact Conditioning is a low intensity exercise that does not induce pain or even fatigue,” commented Frick. “The point of contact is the most important place in the golf swing, so our initiative uses impact as the center theme and starting point.

“I was fortunate enough to work for Jeffcoat and Jeffcoat Insurance. It is a great company, formed by even greater men. Byron and Brandon Jeffcoat are both fine Christian, family men who believe in serving others.”

Both Frick and Beard were part of the first Swing Balance Impact Conditioning Certification and Endorsement Class that is now offered at the new Tsunami Bar Sport Training Center. They both got certified to instruct and coach while nearing completion of the Endorsement phase.

“Swing Balance has an entire product line of Pattern Support Tools that allow accelerated learning”, commented Beard, who works at Hidden Valley Golf Club and has been a student of Frick’s for many years.

Beard, 30, works seasonally at Hidden Valley, is a musician and lead marching instructor for White Knoll Marching Band. He is also is an Uber driver with entrepreneurial spirit, can shoot par golf and has a vision.

“At first I dreamed of playing, but recently my energy and focus has turned to teaching the game I love,” he said.

Michael Chappell, First Tee of Columbia’s leader and head instructor, had this to say about the Swing Balance Pattern Support tool product line.

“I was introduced to the Lagan Nader and the impact plane pad by a large number of children just getting started in golf,” Chappell said. “The tools provide feedback through feel. When they feel, they correct movement and they learn faster. The Feedback also helps them learn correctly, faster.”

Cary Mcdaniel, 69, had this to say.

“After learning how to use the Laginator and Multistik, I gained 20 to 30 yards on my drives. I warm up before playing and use the tools at home.”

“I recently had the best ball striking round I have ever had,” said Richard McMahan, 75, a retired Timber-lake member. “I have never hit short wedge shots like this and all I have been able to do is practice in my backyard.”

Impact Conditioning Classes and Instruction will be available at the Tsunami Bar Training Center. Brad and Jared will be available starting in 2019 for small group and private instruction at the training center. For more information now, call (844) 987-8626, ext

•For more than 20 years, this visit served as a guide or road map that would assist me in pursuit of the New Year’s personal and business performance goals. Mike Bender and Dr. Morris Pick-ens have been training coaching and teaching the world’s best athletes for decades.

Their work is proven and validated through their clients. The only reason I get to be on their schedule this time of year is before they became famous, they were my mentors and friends. Out of courtesy, and I know it’s inconvenient and costly to them, they reserve time and the original slot I requested which started in 1991 with Mike Bender.

What’s my point? Make your performance plan for 2019 now, too and tune in next week for an update.
