My mother means the world to me.
She has taught me many life lessons.
Cooking, cleaning, organization, sewing, gardening and accounting skills are just a few of many.
I visit my mother every year on Mother’s Day.
This year may look and feel different like last year.
As we are still battling this pandemic, what are your plans?
If you are still weary of venturing out this Mother’s Day, do something at home.
A home-cooked meal, flowers, trip to the park and an activity would be fun.
Here is a healthy cake recipe for Mother’s Day: https://www.eatingwell.com/recipe/251419/blueberry-lemon-ricotta-pound-cake/.
This pound cake recipe contains lemon zest and blueberries.
Both ingredients are high in antioxidants.
Both have high levels of Vitamin C.
Vitamin C is key in maintaining a healthy immune system during this pandemic.
Not to mention, who doesn’t love blueberries and lemons!?
Enjoy!
