Here is a list of who filed to run for seats representing parts of or all of Lexington County.
U.S. House of Representatives, District 2 - Eight names
Republican Joe Wilson currently holds the U.S. House of Representatives, District 2 seat, which represents Lexington and Aiken counties, along with parts of Richland and Orangeburg counties. Wilson has filed to run again. The following have also filed to run for this seat, according to South Carolina Election Commission data: Republican Sam Gibbons, Democrat Zyon Khalifa, Democrat Roger Pruitt, Republican Hamp Redmond, Democrat David Robinson II, Democrat Daniel J. Shrief and Dayna Alane Smith of the Workers Party.
