Worried about getting out of shape while you’re sitting around the house with the kids who are out of school from the coronavirus outbreak?

White Knoll High School’s head athletic trainer Sheila Gordon is posting daily workouts on the whiteknollathletics.org site and the “White Knoll Athletics” facebook page and Instagram. She started on the 16th and will rcontinue through March 31. Contact coach Gordon at sgordon@lexington1.net with questions.

THERE ARE OTHER things available while we’re not able to enjoy public events due to cancellations and social distancing policies. Many of our local churches offer live streams or video of services. For example. The SC Philharmonic put up a live stream of last Saturday night’s Koger Center concert that was excellent in both sound quality and performance. Or maybe, while you’re out buying all those cleaning products and toilet paper you could pick up a good book?

THIS SATURDAY, MARCH 21, Lexington Church of God is hosting a classic car and tractor show on church grounds (Subject to cancellation, but still posted as of press time.) Expect lots of great classic cars, from hot rods to lovingly restored classics, and the tractors your grandfathers used. There will be free food and refreshments, and if you have your own classic car or tractor and want to show it off, registration is 9 to 9:45 am. The show begins at 10.
