Hospital’s new visiting hours

Posted

With increases in covid-19 cases, Lexington Medical Center has changed its visiting policies.

Hospital visiting hours will be from 8 am to noon 7 days a week.

Patients can have 1 visitor a day.

Pregnant women may have 1 support person with them through labor, delivery and their after birth stay.

They can also have 1 additional visitor a day between 8 am and noon.

For the Emergency Department and urgent care centers, 1 visitor can accompany a non-covid patient.

He or she must stay in the patient’s room and may help settle the patient if admitted to the hospital.

For patients having procedures or surgery, 1 visitor is permitted in the specified lobby during the procedure or surgery.

Visits are prohibited for patients with covid-19, those suspected to have it and anyone under age 18.

Visitors must wear masks at all times.
