Covid-19 has played havoc with the state’s school report cards.
The report cards contain less data because covid-19 affected testing and surveys.
School districts will not be designed “excellent,” “good,” “average,” “below average,” or “unsatisfactory.”
The report cards show graduation rates, average teacher pay, English learners’ progress, reported violent acts and per-student spending.
SC Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman said, “Our schools were unable to administer many of the accountability measures that are used for our annual report cards.”
