Irmo balloting begins October 7

The Irmo election is fast approaching and absentee ballots will be available October 7. Ballots can be downloaded at SCvotes.org or picked up at the Richland or Lexington County voter offices. For Lexington County, call 803-785-8390 and for Richland county voter information call 803-576-2240.

The Dutch Fork Historical Society will have historian Kenneth Robison as a guest speaker on September 30 at 6 p.m. at the Chapin Library.

If you are a Chili lover, October has two events just for you! The Seven Oaks Park Midlands Chili Cook-Offf is October 5-6, from 10 am to 5 pm with chili tasting from 11 to 4. This is a fundraising event for ICRC’s Youth Athletic Scholarship, Meals on Wheels, and SC National Guard Foundation. Call 803-213-1195 for information.
