The Irmo Cherry Blossom Festival will take place on Saturday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Irmo Town Park located at 7330 Carlisle St. in Irmo.

This festival honors the Japanese Yoshino cherry trees and will include picnicking, food vendors, handcrafted artwork and more.

Yuko Kimura will sing Japanese folk songs at 11 a.m. and at 1 p.m., a drumming performance will take place by Taiko Charleston.

There will also be a Japanese import car show and anime, manga and cosplay.
