Let’s get this straight.

Fair is fair in sports.

Play by the rules and you don’t get your team penalized out of the stadium.

You sleep better, too.

But life itself isn’t fair.

Good guys don’t always win, place or show.

Forget about it.

But this transgenderism and wokeness in sports really has my blood pressure up.

Conservative commentator Mark Styne, a Canadian transplant to our country, tells it like it is.

Some of what the leftwing is doing in Canada is enough to drive away any one with any sense. His problem – and ours – is that the same nonsense has invaded US sports.

Mark says transgender fanaticism involves the abolition of biological sex and, I’m sorry to have to say it, the mutilation of children.

American retreat?

America is farther down this road than any other country in the Western , Mark said. In other words, at this moment of crisis for western civilization or for what we used to call Judeo-Christian values, the leading country of the free world is retreating – in more ways than Afghanistan.

Think of it. Your daughter has been training since she was a little girl to race in school sports.

Now at 17, she’s in the state high school track championships, and you are forbidden even to notice that she’s competing against a woman who is 6’2” with thighs like tugboats, a 5 o’clock shadow and a muscular bosom Arnold Schwarzenegger would envy.

You’re not supposed to notice the craziness of this.

We traditionally think of France as being a bit crazy but today there are French intellectuals who regard themselves as hardcore leftists and yet they think America has gone bonkers on this transgender issue.

Pencil-brained President Macron himself has said that American wokeness is an existential threat to the French Republic.

We threaten the French? After all they did for us in 1776? After all we did to save their butts in 1917 and again in 1944?

Oui! Oui! to the French.

American indifference?

Here in the US, conservative leaders and institutions seem oblivious or, for political reasons, ignore this.

School districts are talking about revising their curricula to cover transgender issues even in grade school.

Will we have to cancel math because we need gay studies? Instead of sneaking out behind the barn to learn about sex, kids may need to sneak behind the barn to learn to add and subtract.

What do we hear from most conservative politicians? That it would be nice to offer a tax cut. A tax cut with trillions of debt? Forget about it.

Forget about it.
