New council member

Roger Hoover was sworn in on May 10. Council members include Starr Corley, Larry Sossomon, Daniel Shumpert, and Roger Hoover.

Convent Baptist Church will host a pork and chicken BBQ and a car show June 16, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available from any member of the men’s group.

Pelion Senior Center will have lunch and play bingo at Trinity Lutheran Church on May 18. The seniors will travel to Tri-City for the art show on May 21. May 25 will be Memorial Day Bingo.
