Kids can eat free as part of Seamless Summers meals program

Lexington 2 and Sodexo have announced hours and locations for this summer’s federally funded child nutrition program that provides free, nutritious meals through the months when youth are out of school. Children eligible to participate in the summer feeding program are those who are 18 years of age and younger, and age 19 and older with a physical or mental disability -- as defined by the SC Department of Education, those determined to be mentally or physically disabled and who participate during the school year in a public or private non-profit program for mentally or physically disabled persons. In the Lexington Two area, Brookland Cayce High, Airport High, Pineview Elementary, Cayce Elementary, Pair Education Center, Mc-Gregor Downs, Brookland UMC, Excel Afterschool & Tutorial Program, Church of Christ, South Congaree-Pine Ridge Library and Turner Memorial AME Church will host the Seamless Summer Program.
