The Pelion Women’s Club will distribute gifts for the Children’s Christmas Tree Friday, December 20, from 6 to 8 pm at the community center.

Pelion Library will be closed from December 24 until December 26. December 21 will be crossword puzzle day. December 28 will be card playing day.

Pelion Senior Center will have Santa visit the group on December 20. The center will serve brunch December 24 and will close at 12:30 pm. The center will be closed December 25 and 26 to celebrate Christmas.

Convent Baptist Church will have its Christmas drama December 22 at 10:30 am. The Christmas Eve service will be December 24 at 5 pm. Everyone is invited to these services.

A reminder that the Rescue Church in Pelion is having “An Event for Everyone.” Everyone from Pelion and surrounding communities is invited to this Christmas program. Please join the Rescue on December 22 at 11 am in the Pelion High School Theatre. Use the Hwy. 178 entrance. Fellowship and refreshments will follow.

Pelion High Varsity wrestling will be at Lugoff-Elgin December 20 at 5:30 pm and December 21 at 9 am at Lugoff-Elgin.
