John Rebolj was installed as 2nd Sergeant at Arms at the American Legion meeting. Pruitt Hospice gave a talk on their care.

Nominations were taken for new officers who will be elected this month. The Legion will celebrate its 5th anniversary 1 - 4 pm May 8 at the Community Center.

QUILTS OF VALOR will give quilts at the State House 1 - 4 pm May 23.’

The annual Pelion High awards day has been change from 6 pm to 2 pm May 14 at 981 Mulberry Street.

A SPECIAL thank you to David Daniel and his son for edging the walkway to the memorial, cleaning the rose and flower beds and putting out mulch. David is a new Ruritan member and the members are grateful.

CONGRATULATIONS to Parker Free who will graduate from UofSC May 8 with a degree in mechanical engineering.
