GAL Training: Free 30-hour volunteer Guardian ad Litem training teaches about the family court system, how to recognize abuse and neglect and how to communicate with children, foster parents and every party involved in the case. Serving the Disabled: Feb. 1, 8:30 am-1 pm at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 6952 St. Andrews Rd, Columbia. Attend this free conference on how church leaders and congregations can better support and engage individuals with special needs and disabilities. The public is invited as well.
