LETTER TO THE EDITOR: John Lastinger for S.C. House endorsement

Posted

Dear Editor,

John Adams wrote, "public Virtue cannot exist in a Nation without (private virtue), and public Virtue is the only Foundation of Republics." He meant that Virtue is derived from a Protestant Christian worldview. Pastor John Lastinger exemplifies what President Adams spoke of. He will be a citizen politician who cares and will be a servant leader for my fellow Carolinians in S.C. House District 88.

John is a True Conservative Christian who represents the values of the Palmetto State. As a fellow citizen activist, he, too, has been active in the Lexington County GOP. I, as a Conservative Christian, wholeheartedly endorse Pastor John for his pro-life stand at all stages. As an NRA member, I support his candidacy due to his strong support of the 2nd Amendment, which protects our 1st Amendment rights. As an educator, I endorse Mr Lastinger's support of school choice and the teaching of America's true history, not Woke ideology and Critical Race Theory.

I'm a former small businessman who agrees with John's support for entrepreneurship and the reduction of regulations. Finally, Pastor Lastinger is against government overreach, such as that we experienced during Covid-19 tyranny. He, too, believes that we are able to make our own healthcare decisions.

So, for this upcoming Special Election on Dec. 23, vote Pastor John Lastinger for S.C. House District 88.
