Lexington County School District One will host its teacher recruitment fair on Saturday, Feb. 1 from 8 a.m. until noon, giving attendees a chance to meet administrators and share their resumes.
Lexington One serves over 26,000 students with more than 4,400 employees across 32 schools, the press release said.
This event will take place at White Knoll High School, located at 5643 Platt Springs Rd. in Lexington. Doors will open at 8 a.m., with the event beginning at 8:30 a.m. From 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., attendees will participate in a meet and greet.
At the meet and greet, attendees will be able to meet administrative representatives from different Lexington One schools and discuss vacancies for the 2025-26 school year.
According to the Lexington One website, these are the current vacant positions: three administrative positions, one athletics/extracurricular position, one food service position, six high school teacher positions, two instructional assistants positions, two maintenance/custodial positions, two middle school teacher positions, one office professional positions, eight special services positions and one transportation position.
Starting at 9 a.m., those who pre-register will have a dedicated interview scheduled. Those who do not pre-register for the event will potentially get an interview if there is enough time.
