Cooper Langford is joining the City of West Columbia. CJ Jackson, director of fleet services for the city, said Cooper is the third student he has worked with from this program and added that they all have been hard workers.
On the Road Again Auto Repair will be bringing Juan Tenjhay-Garcia to its team.
“Juan has been with us for the past few months and the good thing about Juan is that he likes to listen and is willing to learn as much as he can,” Andrew Finch, owner of the company, said.
Harry Patterson will be joining Jim Hudson Lexus and Zackery Wooten will be working at Unique Barbershop in Cayce.
Michelin has been manufacturing tires and light truck vehicles in Lexington County since 1981. Three students, including Noah Brown, Greyson Lawson and Andrew Harney, signed with the company and will receive a full scholarship for an engineering technology degree. During their time in school, they will work part-time at the company, and upon graduation, they will be offered a full-time job.
Zeus, a company that manufactures polymer extrusions and custom tubing, is bringing Jordan Crowson to its team. Jordan will receive a full ride to Midlands Technical College while receiving on-the-job training for the next two years, all paid for by Zeus.
Ashley Ceballos-Rios, a current welding student, will be joining the U.S. Navy and Skyler Shull will be joining Gregory Electric Company.
Michael Crosland and Shaun Harris will be joining Carolina Power, a commercial electrical contractor. These students will have full-time on-the-job training and will go to school to earn an apprenticeship.
